OUR METHODOLOGY.
We use a participatory co-design methodology to develop both low-tech and high-tech healthcare solutions in collaboration with patients, among others. We've co-designed several innovations with a few new ones in the works, as well as helped organizations co-design their own solutions. Keep scrolling for a few examples of innovations we've launched. The most interesting part? We also have a partnership with over 1,800 hospitals and community practices so that these innovations can be deployed at the point of care. We're not interested in adding to the noise, but rather figuring out ways to connect the dots and unify the silos across healthcare through our Digital Medicine Cabinet.
THE co-designed hospital gown"Banish the free show hospital gown, which makes me feel dehumanized and exposed."
In an effort to address this issue and illustrate how easy it is to partner with patients to co-design a solution based on what they identify as an issue, we collaborated with over 25 patients, clinicians (to ensure accessibility), fashion designers and a seamstress. We co-designed a new hospital gown, which is a cross between a kimono wrap top and basketball tear-away pants! This project was one of our first co-design projects that illustrated how simple it is to partner with patients to co-design a solution based on a problem they've identified. |
®PRESCRIPTION TO LEARN®"Information Overload. How do do I know what information I can trust? I want my clinician to prescribe social support."
Prescription to Learn®, the GPS to healthcare , was co-designed with 125 patients, care partners, clinicians and advocates with the goal of guiding patients through the wild west of information. Patients can access and rate resources we've curated from trusted organizations and personalize their search based on phase in journey, medium of choice and learning preference. Clinicians can also prescribe resources to their patients. Prescription to Learn® initially launched in cancer and we are working on expanding to other conditions. If interested in partnership opportunities and/or expansion to other conditions and/or regions, please inquire. |
the patient story: A qualitative & quantitative approach
In an effort to connect the dots across healthcare, we've also developed proprietary tools to help capture and translate the patient story into quantitative insights.
